Dawson has spent all thirteen of his seasons in the NFL with the Cleveland Browns. He is the 10th most accurate kicker among active players in the NFL. Last season, Dawson made 24 of his 29 field goal attempts, connecting on a career-high seven field goals from at least 50 yards.
The $3.81 salary figure is the average salary of the top five kickers in the league, per franchise tagging rules. It is a raise of over 20 percent from what Dawson made las season. The Browns also used the franchise tag on Dawson last year.
