Ryan Tannehill impressed scouts in his workout at Texas A&M's Pro Day Thursday, according to Gil Brandt of NFL.com.
Dolphins coach Joe Philbin, along with GM Jeff Ireland, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll and a large contingent from the Cleveland Browns, including offensive coordinator Brad Childress, were among the personnel on hand from 21 teams. I think that everybody that was there were pleased with what they saw.
Tannehill, in a workout scripted by former NFL quarterback Chris Weinke, threw 68 passes--15 of which were on the goal line and the rest from the 30-yard line going downfield. He completed 65 of the 68 passes with two drops from receivers. He also ran the 40-yard dash in 4.62 seconds.
Tannehill has garnered interest from the Cleveland Browns, who have the fourth pick in the draft. He has reportedly scheduled a pre-draft meeting with the team.
