2012 NFL Draft: Trent Richardson-To-Browns Starting To Pass As Conventional Wisdom

Stay connected for news and updates

The Indianapolis Colts and Washington Redskins have been credited with -- or accused of -- sucking the drama out of the first few picks of the NFL Draft.

But if the legion of mock drafters are to be believed, then there isn't all that much suspense about who the Cleveland Browns will take at No. 4 either.

You haven't heard? The Browns are taking Trent Richardson. End of story.

Here is a list of pundits who hypothesize that it'll be Richardson:

ESPN's Todd McShay

ESPN's Mel Kiper

Sports Illustrated's Peter King

NFL.com's Greg Cosell, Bucky Brooks, Chad Reuter and Steve Wyche (and others)

CBS Sports' Pat Kirwan

CBS Sports' Rob Rang

CBS Sports' Dane Brugler

CBS Sports' Pete Prisco

To be fair, not everyone is picking what is, at this point, the "chalk" selection. In fact, SB Nation's own mock draft has the Browns nabbing Texas A&M quarterback Ryan Tannehill. Time will tell.
