2012 NFL Draft: Browns Trade Third Round Pick To Broncos For Two Picks

Stay connected for news and updates

The Cleveland Browns traded down in the third round, dealing their third-round pick (No. 67 overall) to the Denver Broncos for the Broncos' third-round pick (No. 87) overall and fourth-round pick (No. 120 overall).

Denver used the pick they acquired to draft running back Ronnie Hillman out of San Diego State. The Browns have hit the offensive side of the ball with their first three picks, so they may be looking defense with their late third-round pick with a need at cornerback.

Cleveland will now have two fourth-round picks with the 5th and 25th picks in the fourth round. So the Browns will be busy on Saturday adding another pick early in the long draft day.
