The Cleveland Browns are gearing up for another day of practice, and made two roster moves in advance of Thursday's morning session. According to SB Nation's blog for the Browns, Dawgs By Nature, the team has activated two player who were riding injury lists. The first is defensive tackle Ahtyba Rubin, who was on the physically unable to perform list.
Rubin makes a much-needed return, as the Browns have had some mounting injuries at the DT position. Frostee Rucker missed another practice with a leg injury, while Brian Schaefering has a thigh injury. Both players are tackles, while Rubin is one of the better players at the position. Still, Rubin looks quite a bit out of shape by all accounts, and it could be awhile before he's 100 percent. Definitely a good thing to have him back sooner rather than later though.
Tight end Evan Moore was the other player to be activated. He was on the non-football injury list and participated in his first practice Thursday morning. Not much is known about what he did exactly, but it's looking like he did get some solid time with starters and could factor into the team's offense this season.
