Despite the possibility being floated that Friday's game against the Eagles could be the debut of rookie running back Trent Richardson, the third pick in the 2012 NFL Draft will not play in the third preseason game of the season for the Browns.
Joining Richardson on the sideline will be 12 other Browns players: Linebacker Scott Fujita (knee), tight end Benjamin Watson (undisclosed), running back Chris Ogbonnaya (leg), cornerback Antwuan Reed (leg), cornerback Dimitri Patterson (ankle), safety Usama Young (hamstring), safety Ray Ventrone (hamstring), linebacker Chris Gocong (Achilles), linebacker Emmanuel Acho (undisclosed), defensive tackle Scott Paxson (knee), offensive lineman Oniel Cousins (leg) and defensive tackle Phil Taylor (pectoral).
For the Eagles, two quarterbacks will be inactive, including starter Michael Vick and backup Mike Kafka. Also inactive for the Eagles are wide receiver Riley Cooper, safety Colt Anderson, safety Tom Nelson, linebacker Casey Matthews, offensive tackle Jason Peters, guard/tackle Todd Herremans, defensive end Jason Babin and defensive tackle Mike Patterson.
