Marcus Benard Injury: Cleveland Browns Defensive End Injures Elbow

Cleveland Browns defensive end Marcus Benard left Friday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles after injuring his elbow in the third quarter, according to the team's official Twitter feed. Benard was hurt on a goal-line play and taken straight to the locker room.

Benard is entering his fourth season in the league. He's listed third on Cleveland's depth chart at right defensive end. He had three tackles in tonight's game before leaving.

Benard, an undrafted player out of Jackson State in 2009, played in four games for Cleveland last season, recording three tackles and half a sack. He played in 15 games the previous season and had eight sacks. He has 12 sacks for his career.
