The Cleveland Browns host the Chicago Bears Thursday night to close the preseason.

The Cleveland Browns (2-1) close their exhibition season Thursday night by hosting the 2-1 Chicago Bears at Browns Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 ET.

The biggest storyline of the preseason -- the quarterback competition between rookie Brandon Weeden and veteran Colt McCoy -- will take a backseat for the night, as Browns head coach Pat Shurmur has temporarily benched his rookie starter in anticipation of the regular season opener. McCoy, who was demoted to second-string during the preseason and has been the subject of constant trade rumors since, will start under center. The Browns have a clean injury report, and hope to maintain it as the preseason closes.

The Bears are trying to get healthy, with linebacker Brian Urlacher still out with a knee injury and safety Chris Conte healing a shoulder injury. As is commonplace for the final week of the preseason, neither team is expected to play its starters for more than a couple of series, if at all.

Game Date/Time: Thursday, August 30; 7:30 pm ET

Location: Browns Stadium, Cleveland

TV Schedule
National: FOX

Radio Schedule
Bears: WBBM 780 AM & 105.9 FM
Browns: WTAM 1100
