No more posing for Greg Little

Don't expect to see Cleveland Browns wide receiver Greg Little posing anytime soon. Browns head coach Pat Shurmur told the second-year wide receiver to stop posing after plays.

At various times this NFL season, Little has struck a pose similar to the one Usain Bolt made famous during the London Olympics. Little tweeted a picture of himself in the pose following a Browns loss earlier this season, then struck the pose twice on Sunday.

Shurmur had apparently seen enough, as on Monday he told Little to stop posing. For his part, Little said he would comply with the coach's request.

"I never wanted this to happen where the pose took a negative spin," Little said, according to The News-Herald. "It manifested in that way. I just won't do it anymore. I'll give it the normal point with one finger like everyone else does."

Little has caught seven passes for 74 yards and a touchdown this season.

NFL Injury Reports: Mohamed Massaquoi Injured In Loss

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi's career has been dotted by injuries, and he may have suffered another setback on Sunday when he left Cleveland's loss to the Buffalo Bills in the first half with a hamstring injury.

According to the Sporting News, Massaquoi told reporters after the game that he hopes to play on Thursday vs. the Baltimore Ravens. Browns head coach Pat Shurmur, on the other hand, was less sure about Massaquoi's chances of playing. The short week, of course, will be of no help.

Otherwise, the Browns made it out of Sunday relatively unscathed, and they'll need to be as healthy as possible if they want to have a chance of beating the Ravens.

Browns Depth Chart: Buster Skrine Gets The Call With Sheldon Brown Demoted To Nickel

The Cleveland Browns have a bit of a problem in their defensive secondary as Joe Haden is still serving part of his four-game suspension and former starting cornerback Sheldon Brown has been demoted to nickel cornerback.

The Brown and Haden situations have opened up an opportunity for Buster Skrine, though, and the young defensive back is ready to take advantage of it. Defensive coordinator Dick Jauron doesn't sound quite as sure that he's ready for this, but it seems as though he likes his potential.

"Buster is a work in progress," defensive coordinator Dick Jauron said Thursday. "He hasn't played a lot of football. I really like him. He's a very competitive, very tough guy. He learned a good deal in that game that will help him in the long run. It was painful for him and us to some degree. He also made some plays in that game but gave up some."

Skrine will be asked to match up with Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson this weekend -- a difficult task as he attempts to get acclimated with his new starting role.

Browns Injury Update: Alex Smith, James-Michael Johnson Still Not Practicing

The Cleveland Browns are still without tight end Alex Smith and rookie linebacker James-Michael Johnson, both who did not practice Thursday as the Browns prepare for the Buffalo Bills this weekend.

The Browns probably won't miss the two players much. Smith has just four catches for 29 yards, though he is part of key offensive packages, and Johnson has yet to record a statistic this season.

Johnson suffered an oblique injury in Cleveland's preseason finale against the Chicago Bears, and was originally expected to miss four weeks. Johnson, if that time frame holds, could be back for the Browns' next game.

Smith suffered a concussion against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1 and is considered day-to-day. With how seriously the league are treating head injuries, it's possible that Smith will be held out of the Buffalo game as a precaution.

Trent Richardson Excited To Meet Jim Brown At Bills Game

The Trent Richardson era in Cleveland got off to a bit of a rocky start earlier this May when Cleveland Browns legend Jim Brown called Richardson "ordinary" and said that he didn't "see anything anything outstanding" about the 2012 first round pick. Brown will be back in Cleveland this weekend for the franchise's Alumni Weekend, and the two will meet as they look to put those comments behind them.

Richardson was diplomatic with reporters on Wednesday, saying that meeting Brown will be an honor. Richardson also said that he used Brown's words as motivation while rehabbing in the offseason.

"I was hurt and I had to fight back and I thought about that every day," Richardson said. "I fought back to get to this point where I'm at right now."

After a pedestrian outing in his first game as a pro, Richardson rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown last week against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Browns Injury Report: Billy Winn Expected At Practice, Alex Smith Still Day-To-Day

Cleveland Browns rookie defensive tackle Billy Winn and tight end Alex Smith both sustained concussions last week against Cincinnati, and Browns coach Pat Shurmur offered a very brief update on the two players Wednesday.

This update offered just slightly more information:

Smith has four catches for 29 yards this season. Winn has logged two total tackles, one of those solo. The Browns (0-2) host the Buffalo Bills Sunday.
