The Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens are tied 0-0 after the first quarter of Thursday's game. The teams combined for just 109 yards of total offense and seven first downs in the quarter. Each team also had one turnover.

Both defenses also delivered big hits throughout the quarter. Cleveland's Josh Cribbs left the game and won't return with a head injury after a hit from Dannell Ellerbe on a punt return. Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden absorbed this hit from Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis:

Weeden was 5-for-9 for 38 yards in the quarter.

Trent Richardson hat 5 carries for 16 yards in the first. Cleveland's defense held Ray Rice to 10 yards on 4 carries in the quarter.

The Browns only turnover came on the hit Cribbs took. He lost the ball after the initial contact and Baltimore recovered. The Browns evened things up in the turnover margin when Craig Robertson intercepted Joe Flacco in the end zone late in the quarter.
