Eagles Vs. Browns Final Score: Michael Vick's Late Heroics Give Philly Win

Stay connected for news and updates

The Cleveland Browns fell in crushing fashion in their 2012 opener, as a late touchdown gave the Philadelphia Eagles a 17-16 win.

Brandon Weeden struggled in his debut at the Browns' starter, completing just 12-of-35 passes for 118 yards and four interceptions. Trent Richardson was also quiet in his Browns debut, gaining just 39 yards on 19 carries.

The lone Browns touchdown on the afternoon came on an interception that was returned to the end zone by D'Quell Jackson, to put the Browns ahead 16-10 in the third quarter. The Browns forced Eagles quarterback Michael Vick into four interceptions, but they failed to stop him late as he threw for over 300 yards.

LeSean McCoy also gave the Browns trouble on the ground, as he rushed for 110 yards on 20 carries. His ability to gain first downs set up the final touchdown.

The Browns will look to rebound next Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
