The Cavaliers played a watered-down San Antonio lineup last night in Pittsburgh and won 106-80. So much for the good news.

The bad news is that both Anthony Parker and Antawn Jamison went down with injuries during the second quarter. Jamison sprained his left knee and Parker sprained fingers on his right hand. Although neither injury seems to be serious, they will probably both be rested in the remaining exhibition games and will hopefully be ready to go on October 27, when the Cavs open the season against Boston.

J.J. Hickson led the way for Cleveland last night with 18 points and nine rebounds against the Spurs, who were without Manu Ginobili, Tony Parker and Tim Duncan. Ramon Sessions tallied 14 points, nine boards and six assists, while Daniel Gibson put up 13, four and six for the Cavaliers, who will next play tomorrow night against CSKA in an "unofficial" exhibition game at home before playing Philadelphia in Cincinnati on Tuesday.
