The NBA Trade Deadline is a week away and sources continue to say there are few parts of the Cavaliers that are off limits to teams. Last week we talked about rumors involving Anthony Parker and the Chicago Bulls. Parker is still linked to the Bulls, though a deal like that wouldn't likely happen until after the All-Star Break.
Another trade rumor that is being reported involves the Atlanta Hawks possible interest in G Ramon Sessions. The Hawks would like some help at guard, and Sessions has quietly put together a nice season - especially considering the Cavaliers didn't have Mo Williams for a large stretch this season.
| FG | 3PT | FT | Rebounds | Misc | ||||||||||||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| G | M | M | A | Pct | M | A | Pct | M | A | Pct | Off | Def | Tot | Ast | TO | Stl | Blk | PF | PPG | |
| 2010 - Ramon Sessions | 54 | 25.6 | 4.0 | 8.7 | 45.8 | 0.0 | 0.1 | 0.0 | 3.9 | 4.7 | 83.1 | 0.6 | 2.4 | 2.9 | 5.2 | 1.9 | 0.8 | 0.1 | 1.2 | 11.9 |
How much help Sessions would provide the Hawks against the East's top teams like the Miami Heat, Boston Celtics and Orlando Magic remains to be seen, but the Cavaliers need to keep building assets and Sessions is not a part of the Cavaliers future.
