Read More: Cleveland Cavaliers
The latest trade rumors surrounding the Cavaliers involve their $14.5 million Trade Exception they acquired in the LeBron James sign-and-trade with the Miami Heat. There had been plenty of speculation that the Cavs would use it at the deadline in order to acquire a major piece of the puzzle from a team looking for financial relief.
So far, the Cavs haven’t found a deal worth taking, and with the Trade Deadline coming up at 3:00PM et today it looks more and more like the Cavs will hold onto the big bullet in their chamber and wait for opportunities at the 2011 NBA Draft.
There is still time for another, smaller, deal to happen – like Anthony Parker to the Boston Celtics as has been rumored, but don’t expect anything involving any big name.
