Cavaliers Vs. Nets: Kyrie Irving And Marshon Brooks Face Off In Battle Of Exciting Rookies

Stay connected for news and updates

The Cleveland Cavaliers and New Jersey Nets will pit two strong rookies against each other... if Marshon Brooks plays, of course.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have had a somewhat similar year to the New Jersey Nets. Both teams are currently wallowing in losing records and don't look to be playoff caliber teams, but both also have got exciting rookies leading the way to the future for their teams.

Cleveland's Kyrie Irving and New Jersey's Marshon Brooks might not meet tonight because of a tender Achilles tendon in Brooks' foot, but if both of them are on the floor this is sure to be a fun matchup to watch as the youngsters meet for the first time ever in NBA action. Brooks is listed as a game time decision.

Both teams won their last games, and New Jersey will be looking to get their first two game winning streak of the entire season tonight in Cleveland while the Cavs will be looking to forget a four game losing streak that they snapped with their win against the New York Knicks.

The game will be at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland at 7:30 PM EST.
