Kelenna Azubuike's knee healthy, ready for training camp

Stay connected for news and updates

For the first time in years, Kelenna Azubuike's knees are healthy. He is ready to restart his career and contribute for the Cleveland Cavaliers. The injury-plagued guard/forward has not completed a full season since 2008-09 with the Golden State Warriors.

of Fear the Sword shows some reasons to be optimistic about Azubuike, who is a solid defender and good three-point shooter. Still, multiple knee injuries make it hard to project what Azubuike will be able to do.

In the last three seasons, the former Kentucky Wildcat has played in just 12 games. Even though Azubuike says he is at 100 percent, Kaczmarek expresses uncertainty on whether the London native will even make the team.

The Cavs could certainly use the help on offense. Last season, they shot 42.2 percent from the field, which was second worst in the league.

Cleveland's regular season kicks off on Oct. 30 against the Washington Wizards.
