The Cleveland Cavaliers will hit the court to face a pair of teams currently below .500 overall this weekend.

Losers of seven of their last eight games, the Cleveland Cavaliers will try to slowly turn things around this weekend with a pair of manageable games on the schedule.

Cleveland will begin the weekend on the road with a Friday night date with the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center. The Timberwolves are just 3-5 since the return of All-Star forward Kevin Love from a broken wrist, but will enter Friday after having played six of their last seven games away from home.

The Cavaliers will next try to exact some revenge the following night with the Detroit Pistons in town for a divisional showdown on Saturday at Quicken Loans Arena. The Pistons held the Cavs to a meager 15.0 percent from three-point range in an 89-79 loss on Dec. 3, and Byron Scott's team will be eager to slow down a Detroit squad that has roared back from a disastrous 0-8 start to the year.

Cavs Weekend Schedule

Friday, Dec. 7 - at Minnesota Timberwolves - 8 p.m. ET

Saturday, Dec. 8 - vs. Detroit Pistons - 7:30 p.m. ET
