Ramon Sessions Trade: Cavaliers Trade Point Guard To Lakers For Draft Pick

There's been speculation left and right for weeks now about Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Ramon Sessions and whether or not he was going to remain in Cleveland come the trade deadline. With time ticking down to the deadline, it looks like a deal has finally been done and Sessions has played his last game as a Cavalier.

Brian Windhorst of ESPN reported on Thursday that the Cavs had made a deal with the Los Angeles Lakers for Sessions. The Lakers had long been the number one candidates to make a trade for the PG, and Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski confirms that the deal is for the Lakers' first round pick in 2012. The deal also included Christian Eyenga going to the Lakers and Luke Walton going to the Cavs, as reported by Windhorst. The Lakers will have the right to swap with the Heat's 2013 first-round pick, which the Cavaliers have the rights to from the LeBron James trade.

Sessions had been averaging 10.5 points per game and 3.1 rebounds per game so far this season for Cleveland.
