The Cleveland Cavaliers face a daunting task when they take on the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden on Saturday night.

Not only is Cleveland trying to end a six-game losing streak on the road against a hot New York team, but they may have to do so without rookie point guard and leading scorer Kyrie Irving. Along with getting blown out 121-84 by the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday, Cleveland lost Irving to a sprained shoulder in the process. Irving reportedly traveled with the team to New York and will be evaluated by the team's medical staff to determine if he can play against the Knicks.

The Knicks have been without their point guard Jeremy Lin for the past three games due to a sore left knee and his status will also be determined closer to tip time. The Knicks continue their strong play of late, with an 8-2 record in their last ten games. Along with Lin, Amare Stoudemire has also missed the past three games with a back injury that expects to keep the Knicks' forward sidelined indefinitely.

The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be televised on Fox Sports Ohio.
