Cavaliers Schedule 2012: Cleveland Travel To Two Tough Road Matches In Four Game Week

The Cleveland Cavaliers have four games this week, with two very tough road matches highlighting it.

Cleveland has continued to slog along the shortened NBA season, with five losses in a row and not a single victory since the All Star break. The once dim playoff hopes for these Cavaliers are dimming farther still as their record has sunk to 13-22. They will have four games this week including two very tough ones on the road.

The week begins Monday for the Cavs as they welcome the 17-19 Utah Jazz into town. Utah has started March more brightly than expected, beating the Miami Heat though they followed that up with a loss to Dallas. The Cavaliers game will be the second of an extended road trip for the Jazz.

Wednesday brings the Cavs their second game as they travel upwards 5280 feet for a road game against the Denver Nuggets. Denver started strong this season and then faded a bit before the All Star break, though they're now 3-0 since the break happened. Either way, they're notoriously hard to beat up at altitude so it will be a test for the Cavs.

Friday and Sunday will bring the other games for Cleveland, a tough road game against the Oklahoma City Thunder and a home game against the Houston Rockets. At the very least, the Cavs will not have to face a back to back.
