Cavaliers Vs. Pacers Final: Cleveland Ousted In Overtime 104-98

The Cleveland Cavaliers led by six points with five minutes to go in regulation on Wednesday night, but struggled to find the net down the stretch and were bested in overtime 104-98 by a playoff-bound Indiana Pacers team.

Cleveland shot a putrid 3-for-21 (14.3%) from three-point range and gave the ball away 17 times as a team. Both of these categories were weighed down significantly by sixth man Lester Hudson, who shot 1-for-9 from three and finished with six turnovers. Hudson attempted a game-high 20 field goals, but continues to pile up bricks from behind the arc.

The brunt of the Cavs scoring load continues to fall on the shoulders of veteran forward Antawn Jamison, who scored a game-high 21 points after struggling to a 7-for-19 performance on Tuesday. Jamison, who finished two rebounds shy of his eighth double-double of the season, is averaging 18 points per game for the Cavaliers this season.

The loss now drops Cleveland to 19-37 on the season, and the two teams will face off again in Indiana on Friday night for a rematch.

Cavaliers Vs. Pacers Score Update: Cleveland, Indiana Tied At 46 After Two Quarters

Looking to pick up a second consecutive victory, the Cleveland Cavaliers are battling a tough Indiana Pacers squad after two quarters on Wednesday night, and took a 46-46 tie game into the break.

Forward Antawn Jamison has poured in 12 points on 5-of-10 shooting for the Cavs, who are hitting 53.8% of their field goal attempts as a team. Despite ten turnovers, Cleveland has five separate players who have each dished out at least two assists, and it's clear that ball movement has been key in the opening half.

Indiana star forwards David West and Danny Granger each have set the bar for the Pacers in the scoring column with 10 points apiece, and are a combined 6-for-6 from the free-throw line. Big man Roy Hibbert has also swatted away three Cleveland shot attempts, in addition to dishing out an uncharacteristically-high four assists.
