NBA Summer League 2012: Cavaliers Win Consecutive Games, Beat Suns 89-74

The Cleveland Cavaliers made it two in a row in the NBA Summer League, following Monday's win over the D-League Select team by beating the Phoenix Suns. The final score was 89-74. The Cavs are now 2-1 in Summer League play.

Samardo Samuels led the team in scoring, going 4-for-10 and 9-for-9 on free throws. The young forward had 17 points and five rebounds in 22 minutes. Guard Dion Waiters drew praise for his play and wasn't far behind Samuels. Waiters had 16 points, four rebounds and two assists. As a team the Cavs shot 37.5% on field goals and 89.3% on free throws. They gave up only eight turnovers while taking the ball from the Suns 15 times.
