It has been some time, ten months to be exact, but the Indians could get Grady Siezmore back as early as March 20th to participate in either or minor league game, or, best case scenario, the Indians Cactus League game against the Diamondbacks. Whichever, manager Manny Acta will take it as a huge step in the right direction. Sizemore has been hitting since early march, and has tested his surgically repaired left knee by shagging fly balls in the outfield during batting practice, and run the bases as well; though he can not yet slide into bases. That is how he aggravated the injury back on April 1st in an exhibition game by sliding into second base. It is still unclear whether Sizemore will be ready for Opening Day April 1st against the Chicago White Sox.
