Indians Try To 'Brew' Seventh Straight Win

The Indians, who were 7-11 after the day half of their split-squad games last Friday, have now won six straight to improve to two games over .500 in the Cactus League, and will attempt to do in seven games what it had taken 18 games to accomplish before this current hot streak — add seven more victories.

Cleveland took down the World Champion San Francisco Giants last night, and today face the Milwaukee Brewers in a 4:05 p.m. game.

Mitch Talbot gets the start for the Tribe, and will see these starters supporting him defensively and, hopefully, with the bats as well:

1) Michael Brantley (L) CF
2) Asdrubal Cabrera (S) SS
3) Shin-Soo Choo (L) RF
4) Shelley Duncan® 1B
5) Travis Hafner (L) DH
6) Orlando Cabrera® 2B
7) Chad Huffman® LF
8) Luis Valbuena (L) 3B
9) Lou Marson® C

Milwaukee, which comes in at 15-9 in spring action, will counter with this lineup:

1) Rickie Weeks® 2B
2) Carlos Gomez® CF
3) Ryan Braun® LF
4) Prince Fielder (L) DH
5) Mark Kotsay (L) RF
6) Erick Almonte® 3B
7) George Kottaras (L) C
8) Craig Counsell (L) SS
9) Jeremy Reed (L) 1B

Opening Day against the White Sox is seven days and counting. C’mon Tribe, let’s keep the momentum going and carry it right into the beginning of the season.
