Jason Donald took a pitch off of his hand yesterday afternoon. The pitch broke the skin and had Jason (and the Indians) worried that the infielder might have some real damage.
Thankfully, X-rays were negative, and so, while the hand will no doubt be hurting for a while, it shouldn’t be more than a day or two before Jason will be back out there.
