Indians Vs. White Sox: Cleveland Continues Series With Chicago After Postponed Game

Stay connected for news and updates

Last night was supposed to be the second game of the series between the Cleveland Indians and Chicago White Sox, but cold weather and precipitation forced a postponement. The weather looks a bit more forgiving today for the game with a 40 degree forecast at present.

After dropping the first game of the series 4-2, the rain out makes it so Cleveland can only split the series 1-1 at best before moving on to their next series against the Kansas City Royals.

The pitching match up after a bit of shuffling due to the rain out will pit Cleveland's Justin Masterson against Chicago's John Danks. Danks is currently 0-1 with a 4.50 ERA while Masterson has no decisions so far and boasts a 1.13 ERA in the very early goings of the season.

The Chicago and Cleveland line ups have already been posted on twitter.

The game will be at Progressive Field at 12:05 p.m. ET.
