Coming off of an 8-1 loss to the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday night, the American League Central leading Cleveland Indians (18-13) followed up the disappointing performance by putting up an eight-spot of their own on Thursday night against the Boston Red Sox, beating the team 8-3.
The Red Sox (12-19) will come into Friday night looking to snap a three-game losing streak and will try to make headway on climbing out of the cellar of the American League East.
