The Cleveland Indians will head to Minnesota starting on Monday for a two game series against the Twins.
The Cleveland Indians will need to beat division rivals if they want to keep their hold on the AL Central going all season, specifically the weaker teams like the Minnesota Twins. They'll get their first taste of the Twins in a two game series starting on Monday at Target Field.
They'll face off against Carl Pavano, who has been a concern for the Twins so far this year thanks to his greatly diminished fastball velocity. The former Indians righty is down to the mid 80's on his fastball and even had an MRI to check out his arm, with no results. So far in 2012 he's had a 2-3 record with a 5.02 ERA.
Jeanmar Gomez will take the mound for Cleveland, he holds a 2-2 record and a 4.66 ERA so far this season.
The game will be at Target Field at 8:10 p.m. ET.
