Indians Vs. White Sox: Cleveland Tries To Rebound In Second Game Of Series

Stay connected for news and updates

Philip Humber went about as hot and cold as a pitcher can possibly go in his last two games. After throwing a perfect game, his next start was a nine run effort that chased him quickly. The Cleveland Indians will try and emulate the latter start more than the former when they face him in game two of their three game series against the Chicago White Sox after losing game one 7-3.

Humber will face Josh Tomlin for the Indians. Tomlin has been roughed up a bit this year with a 1-2 record and 5.48 ERA.

The big news for the Indians of course is Johnny Damon likely making his debut in an Indians uniform on Wednesday night, hopefully putting some pop into a Cleveland offense that has been anything but frightening for the opposition so far in 2012.

The game will be at 8:10 p.m. ET.
