Indians Vs. Royals Score Update: Cleveland Allowed 7 Runs In First 2 Innings

Stay connected for news and updates

The Cleveland Indians' starters have not been pitching all that well since their sweet in Detroit and the struggles continued on Tuesday night in the series opener against the Kansas City Royals.

The Royals scored twice in the first inning and then five more in the top of the second off starter Justin Masterson. The Royals almost had eight runs, but a video review of a deep fly by Mike Moustakas was ruled a foul ball (as it was ruled on the field). Moustakas went on to single in two runs anyway. He has knocked in four of the runs in all.

Masterson has allowed a home run and five other hits, but he does have five strikeouts opposite zero walks.
