Indians Vs. Reds Score Update: Cleveland Down 3-2 After Six Innings

Stay connected for news and updates

In Game Two of their series against the Cincinnati Reds, the Cleveland Indians are looking to respond after falling 7-1 in Tuesday's series opener.

The game didn't start the way Cleveland wanted, as the Reds' Brandon Phillips singled in Wilson Valdez in the first inning. The Indians evened the score in the top of the fourth when Jason Kipness scored off a fielder's choice.

After Phillips scored on a Ryan Ludwick sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fourth and Jay Bruce scored Chris Haisley on a sac fly in the bottom of the fifth, Cincinnati held a two-run lead.

Johnny Damon cut the Reds' lead to one in the sixth with an RBI-groundout to score Carlos Santana and the score stands at 3-2 in the top of the seventh.

Right hander Mat Latos has six strikeouts for Cincinatti.
