Indians Vs. Pirates: Game 3 Preview, TV Info And More

Stay connected for news and updates

The Cleveland Indians will look to bounce back from their 9-2 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday in Game 2 of their interleague series. Both runs were off of solo home runs by Asdrubal Cabrera and Casey Kotchman but the Tribe was unable to halt a Pirates offense buoyed by three homers of their own by Pedro Alvarez, Casey McGehee and Alex Presley.

Now, the Indians will hand the ball to Jeanmar Gomez who will try to end the series on a good note for the Indians as they don't want to fall victim to a Pirates' road series win when the Pirates tend to struggle on the road.

Gomez is 4-5 with a 4.71 ERA this season with 31 strikeouts and 23 walks. He will face Pittsburgh's Brad Lincoln, who only starts when on the road and is 2-2 with a 4.32 ERA in three starts and seven relief appearances.
