Indians Vs. Reds: Starting Lineups For Monday

After allowing nine runs in consecutive games against the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Cleveland Indians will hope that they can stifle the Cincinnati Reds offense in the first game of a three-game interleague set on Monday night. This will be no easy task, however, as the Reds recently outscored the Tribe 24-9 in a three-game sweep last week. The Indians will send out Derek Lowe in hopes that he can hold the Reds down.

Here is the lineup he will have to face:

Cincinnati

1. Zack Cozart, Short Stop

2. Chris Heisey, Center Field

3. Joey Votto, First Base

4. Brandon Phillips, Second Base

5. Jay Bruce, Right Field

6. Ryan Ludwick, Left Field

7. Scott Rolen, Third Base

8. Todd Frazier, Designated Hitter

9. Ryan Hanigan, Catcher

Starting Pitcher: Mat Latos; 5-2, 4.64 ERA.

Indians

1. Shin-Soo Choo, Right Field

2. Asdrubal Cabrera, Short Stop

3. Jason Kipnis, Second Base

4. Jose Lopez, Designated Hitter

5. Michael Brantley, Center Field

6. Carlos Santana, Catcher

7. Johnny Damon, Left Field

8. Casey Kotchman, First Base

9. Lonnie Chisenhall, Third Base

Starting Pitcher: Derek Lowe; 7-5, 3.78 ERA
