Indians Vs. Orioles: Cleveland To Face Struggling Brian Matusz In Series Finale

Stay connected for news and updates

After an 11-5 win Saturday, the Cleveland Indians look to continue that momentum at Camden Yards as they take on struggling Orioles lefty Brian Matusz in the series wrap-up.

Justin Masterson (4-7, 4.09 ERA), who boasts a 1.55 ERA in his past four starts and posted a 2.06 ERA overall for the month of June, will start for Cleveland. He's coming off a frustrating seven-hit, four-run outing Tuesday against the Yankees.

Masterson's heavy sinker should be effective in Camden Yards, which has turned into a launching pad this weekend due to scorching temperatures in Baltimore.

Meanwhile, Matusz has failed to reach six innings since June 2 in Tampa Bay. Matusz (5-9, 5.24 ERA) posted an 8.31 ERA over his past four starts and left his last start against the Angels after giving up 13 hits and five runs in five innings.

Indians catcher Carlos Santana could make his return Sunday after being out of action the past three games with back soreness.
