Indians Vs. Blue Jays Score Update: Toronto In Command, 11-4, Through Six

The Toronto Blue Jays have pushed their 10-2 lead after the first three innings out to 11-4 through six.

Indians starter Ubaldo Jimenez didn't make it out of the third inning, when the Blue Jays exploded for eight runs to break a 2-2 tie and run their advantage out to 10-2. The Jays got home runs in the third from first-baseman Edwin Encarnacion, his 24th, and shortstop Yunel Escobar, his sixth on the season. Cleveland left-fielder Shelley Duncan hit his ninth homer of the year with a man on in the top of the fourth.

Aaron Laffey went five innings for the Blue Jays. He gave up four runs on eight hits, struck out four and walked three. Left-handed reliever Aaron Loup came on in relief in the sixth. Scott Barnes relieved Jimenez for the Indians in the third, and Jeremy Accardo pitched the fifth and sixth.

Toronto has left 13 men on base and Cleveland 10 through six innings.
