The season may have been changed for the Cleveland Indians with their win on Thursday. Only a week ago they were floundering in the AL Central and looked to be on a downward trend, but after beating reigning MVP Justin Verlander to win their latest series against the Detroit Tigers, they're right back in the thick of things and are back over .500.

If they want to keep themselves in the discussion with the Tigers and Chicago White Sox still ahead of them, they'll need to do some work against the last place Minnesota Twins in their next series at Target Field.

Game one will feature one of Minnesota's few consistently solid guys on their pitching rotation trying to halt the Cleveland offense, Scott Diamond (8-4, 3.16 ERA). Cleveland will send out the inconsistent Josh Tomlin (5-7, 5.34 ERA) for the first game.

Cleveland's weekend series against Minnesota will mark the start of a nine game road trip for the Indians, which will be immensely important in their quest to finish the season atop the slugfest that the AL Central is slowly starting to turn into in the 2012 season.

The game will be at Target Field at 8:10 p.m. ET.
