Grady Sizemore Injury: Oft-Injured Player Takes Batting Practice Sunday

On Sunday, the Cleveland Indians oft-injured outfielder Grady Sizemore made some progress when he took batting practice and went for a run on a tread mill during a rehab session stemming from a back injury. This comes as a positive development after having to slow down his rehab earlier in June.

However, despite the gradual process, Sizemore is no closer to making his season debut but the Indians are hopeful that he will be able to contribute in some capacity this season.

Via The Chronicle Online:

"We do expect to have him back. When that is, we don't know," manager Manny Acta said.

Sizemore has been battling injuries since before the season started as he underwent back surgery back in Feb. and started the season on the 60-day disabled list.
