Indians Vs. Athletics Final Score: Tribe Shut Out In 3-0 Loss

Roberto Hernandez allowed three earned runs over 2 1/3 innings in the start and the Indians offense mustered just two hits as Cleveland fell to the Athletics 3-0 at Progressive Field on Monday night.

The A's scored one run in the first, second and third innings. In the first, Seth Smith drove in a run with a sac fly. In the second, Josh Reddick hit a solo home run, and in the third, Chris Carter singled home the final run.

Chris Seddon pitched 4 2/3 scoreless innings of relief for the Indians, allowing two hits and one walk. Cody Allen pitched two scoreless innings of relief.

At the plate, Michael Brantley and Brent Lillibridge each recorded a hit for Cleveland's entire offense. Oakland starter Brett Anderson took a no-hitter into the fifth inning and lasted seven innings.

The Indians have lost 10 of their last 11 games.
