Royals vs. Indians lineups: Sandy Alomar's first card has red-hot Canzler batting 5th

Sandy Alomar makes his managerial debut against the Kansas City Royals on Friday. His first lineup has been posted.

Sandy Alomar will make his managerial debut on Friday for the Cleveland Indians as they host the Kansas City Royals in the opener a meaningless three-game series at Progressive Field.

Outfielder Russ Canzler, who is in the midst of an 8-for-16 stretch, will bat fifth for the Indians. They'll go up against Will Smith (6-8, 4.88 ERA), who has allowed four runs and 12 hits in 13 innings against Cleveland this season, across two starts. He is 2-0 in those games.
