The win gave the Blues a franchise-best 29th home win as they maintain the top spot in the Western Conference.
In their win on Saturday, St. Louis spread the wealth with four different players scoring goals while Andy McDonald assisted on two of the scores.
Columbus remains at the bottom of the Western Conference but will try to take but was off to a strong start in the month of March winning four consecutive games before losing in St. Louis. Cam Atkinson scored the sole goal for the Blue Jackets.
