Blues Vs. Blue Jackets Final Score: Columbus Powers Past St. Louis For 5-2 Win

The St. Louis Blues clinched the Central Division title on Saturday night, although they didn't feel like champs at the end of the evening.

The Columbus Blue Jackets spoiled the party for the Blues thanks to a pair of power play goals which propelled the last place Blue Jackets past St. Louis 5-2. Thanks to a loss by the Nashville Predators (5-4 to Chicago) St. Louis still clinched the division title despite the loss.

R.J. Umbarger scored two goals for Columbus including a power play goal in the second period. Derek Dorsett added another power play goal in the third period to put the Blue Jackets up 4-2 before an empty netter by Vinny Prospal put the win on ice. Allen York was back in goal for another win, saving 34 shots to keep St. Louis from rallying from behind.

Columbus remains on the road where they will play at the Phoenix Coyotes on Tuesday night.
