Ohio State Vs. Indiana Score Update: Buckeyes Lead 27-20 Heading Into Fourth

The Buckeyes took the second half kickoff and took the field with a bang. Dan Herron took the first attempt and rushed  for 40 yards, taking it right into Indiana territory. Braxton Miller was sacked for a loss of six yards and then on 3rd and 18, he threw an interception to Alexander Webb, killing the drive in Indiana territory. Fortunately, Indiana was too far backed up to get anything done, so they had to punt and Ohio State once again had good field position.

Miller rushed 13 yards, and then Herron had three consecutive rushes. Herron went for 20 yards, no gain, and then broke out a 15 yard touchdown run which, with the Drew Basil extra point, put the Buckeyes up 20-13. This prompted a back-and-forth, as the Hoosiers started to come back again. They had several short plays of three yards, four yards, nine yards ant the like, and then Tre Roberson found Kofi Hughes for a 34-yard touchdown and a Mitch Ewald extra point tied the game.

Ohio State took over at 6:56 in the third quarter and started driving. They had nine yards, eight yards, seven yards, nine yards ... all in succession and all on rushes from one of Dan Herron, Braxton Miller and Carlos Hyde. The drive started at the OSU 20-yard line and eventually, Braxton Miller took a quarterback draw in from 20-yard out to score a touchdown. After the extra point, Ohio State took a 27-20 lead.
