The Presidential bracket is complete with Barack Obama completing his bracket on Tuesday for today's unofficial Offical start to the 2011 NCAA Basketball Tournament. Despite a year in which upsets were en vogue, the Commander-in-Chief has all four No. 1 seeds advancing to his Final Four before the top two - Ohio State and Kansas battle it out for the National Championship. In the end, Obama has the Jayhawks defeating the Buckeyes.
There were a few notable upset predictions from the President:
Arizona defeating Texas in the Round of 32 has me scratching my head a bit.
UConn is the pick du jour after their run in the Big East Tournament. That means a trip to the Sweet 16 in Obama's bracket.
Richmond over Vanderbilt is the President's pick for the 12-over-5 upset. It happens every year, so you have to pick at least one of them.
While I disagree with the President's Champion, there is little doubt he played it safe.
