Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller suffered an injury to his neck and shoulder area on Saturday.
Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Braxton Miller has been taken to the hospital following an injury suffered in the team's game against Purdue on Saturday, according to ESPN's Desmond Howard. Miller was dragged down from behind and was flipped onto his side by Purdue's Josh Johnson.
Miller was then helped to the sideline. After sitting on the bench, the staff elected to cart him back to the locker room. With about six minutes left in the fourth quarter, an ambulance carried Miller to the hospital.
The star quarterback went nine for 20 with 113 yards and an interception today, along with 66 yards rushing on 11 attempts. Purdue currently leads Ohio State, 22-14. The Boilermakers just picked off a pass, and has possession with 2:40 left in the game.
Ohio State looks to be in danger of dropping their first game of the year, and it appears they may be losing their top player for a period of time as well.
