Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller is expected to practice Tuesday and has been listed as the starter for Saturday's game against Penn State.
Miller suffered an apparent head and shoulder injury against Purdue this past Saturday. The injury seemed very serious, as Miller was carted off the field, however, he did not sustain a concussion.
In Urban Meyer's press conference Monday, the Ohio State head coach said that he had visited Miller while he was still in the hospital, and that the star quarterback remains very sore, according to Land-Grant Holyland. Meyer went on to say that Miller was still shaken from Saturday's injury, and he had "never been rattled like that before."
Ohio State offensive coordinator Tom Herman stated that Miller's health will have no affect on the play calling, and that Miller and Ohio State "have to win the game," according to Zac Jackson of Fox Sports Ohio.
Miller has established himself as a Heisman Trophy candidate through eight games for the undefeated Buckeyes. Miller is 105-of-179 passing for 1384 yards and 11 touchdowns, and he has added 959 yards and 10 touchdowns rushing as well.

Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller reportedly passed concussion tests at the Ohio State Medical Center. The Buckeyes' quarterback apparently also did not sustain any major injury to his shoulder or neck, according to Austin Ward of ESPN.com.
The news comes as an unexpected surprise and relief for the Buckeyes, as it appeared Miller suffered a serious head or shoulder injury in the second half against Purdue. He had to be helped off the field and onto a cart, struggling to stand and walk under his own power. He was taken to the Ohio State Medical Center in an ambulance shortly thereafter, another sign that the injury appeared serious.
But Miller is set to be released from the hospital, with OSU officials telling Doug Lesmerises of The Plain Dealer that there are no concussion symptoms.
Ohio State has a huge game on the road against Penn State next week. Despite the postseason sanctions for both schools, the Nittany Lions and Buckeyes appear to be the frontrunners in the Leaders Division, even if in name only.
