Ohio State have a marquee match up against ranked Michigan State this weekend, while Cleveland State try to rebound from yet another loss to Valparaiso and the Zips face Northern Illinois.
Ohio State just keeps winning, with yet another notch in the W column mid-week as the Buckeyes slid past the Purdue Boilermakers. They have an exceedingly tough match against the Michigan State Spartans on the horizon, greeting Sparty into Ohio on Saturday at 6 PM ET.
Cleveland State suffered another loss at the worst possible time mid-week when they lost to the Valparaiso Crusaders and lost their spot at the top of the Horizon conference. The 59-41 setback was the Vikings' second loss this season to the Crusaders, who seem to be the only team able to beat Cleveland State in the Horizon. The Vikings get a chance to redeem themselves on Saturday as they face the Bulter Bulldogs at 11 AM ET.
The Zips of Akron have a Saturday match as well after a win over Western Michigan, welcoming the Northern Illinois Huskies to town at 7:30 PM ET on Saturday.
