The Ohio State Buckeyes have the lead in the Big 10 conference at present, and their lead only became more solid as they defeated ranked Michigan in their last game. There's still a long way to go though, and the Buckeyes have to take on the team nipping at their heels in second place of the conference this weekend. Saturday sees Ohio State traveling out to Wisconsin to take on the 20th ranked Badgers, whose 7-3 record is just a loss away from being as good as the Buckeyes' 7-2. That game will be at 2 PM Eastern Time.
The Akron Zips continued to dominate the MAC East with yet another win, this one over the Toledo Rockets, on Wednesday and they'll have another chance at boosting their lead as they face the Eastern Michigan Eagles on Saturday at 7:30 PM.
Cleveland State are barely clinging to a lead in the Horizon conference at present but they should have no trouble staying up at the top despite a tie with Valparaiso at the top thanks to their next opponent. The Loyola Ramblers are 0-11 right now in conference play and have looked awful even at home. Cleveland will travel to Illinois to face Loyola at 9 PM on Friday.
