The Michigan State Spartans lead Long Island University-Brooklyn Blackbirds by a score of 42-37 at halftime. The Blackbirds are looking to add to the long list of underdog winners on Friday.
If LIU-Brooklyn is going to pull off the upset, they will have to do a better job on the boards. The Spartans are out-rebounding the Blackbirds 20-10.
Draymond Green leads MSU with nine points. Two other MSU players have eight points. Green also has six rebounds and three assists to lead his team.
