The Sweet 16 is all set for the 2012 NCAA Tournament, and there's a distinctly Ohio flavor. For the first time in the history on the tourney, four teams from one state made it to the Sweet 16. Ohio State and Cincinnati will get things started on Thursday night in Boston, when they square off in the second game of the evening in the East Regional. Xavier and Ohio will play in the two early games on Friday night. A complete schedule with TV times below:

Perhaps the best story so far of the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament is the cinderella Ohio Bobcats advancing to the Sweet 16. John Groce's club took out two BCS conference foes on their way to the regional in St. Louis. As we're all aware by now, Cleveland-area legend and VASJ and OSU grad Clark Kellogg has a son on the Bobcats. Nick Kellogg played an integral role in OU's second-half comeback win. He finished with nine points, scoring all of them in the second half. His father Clark was calling the Lehigh and Xavier game in Greensboro, leading to a great moment on TruTV with Jim Nantz and Kellogg when the score went final.

NCAA Tournament 2012, Michigan State Vs. Saint Louis Final Score: Billikens Fall To Spartans, 65-61

The tournament run for the Saint Louis Billikens ended against the Michigan St. Spartans 65-61. St. Louis came back from a 12-point second deficit to cut the lead to 53-51, but they were never able take the lead.

The way that St. Louis was able to stay in this game was due that they went to the free throw line 23 times and made 18 of them. Their offense was not too helpful as they shot 35 percent from and went 7-of-25 from three-point range. Each and every time St. Louis cut into Michigan State's lead the Spartans would respond in kind to keep the Billikens at bay.

It was this three-pointer that sealed St. Louis' fate by Michigan State's Keith Appling which gave Michigan State a 58-51 lead with 1:37 left in the game. Appling also scored a game-high 19 points.

St. Louis was led by Kwamain Mitchell who had 13 points and Brian Conklin who had 11 points in the loss.

NCAA Tournament 2012, Michigan State Vs. Saint Louis Score Update: Spartans Lead 26-21 At Half

Looking to make the Sweet 16 for the 10th time under head coach Tom Izzo, the No. 1 seed Michigan State Spartans hold a 26-21 halftime lead over the No. 9 Saint Louis Billikens in Columbus.

Saint Louis shot a woeful 26-percent in the first ...

But the Billikens were able to go on a little run after starting 0-for-7 and finding a little bit of a rhythm to take a brief 15-11 lead, but Michigan State answered with an 11-0 run, which included this oomph:

Saint Louis' strong defense is keeping the Billikens in it, though. MSU is shooting a solid 48-percent, but they have nine turnovers. Saint Louis has kept opponents to a remarkable 54 points per game this season and are on pace to better that today. If they can hit a better percentage of their shots in the second half, they might be able to pull off the upset.

March Madness 2012, NC State Vs. Georgetown Final Score: Wolfpack Advance To Sweet 16 With 66-63 Upset Over Hoyas

The No. 11 NC State Wolfpack are headed to the Sweet 16 in St. Louis after upsetting the No. 3 seed Georgetown Hoyas on Sunday afternoon, 66-63. It's NC State's first trip to the Sweet 16 since 2005.

In the first seven minutes of the second half, NC State built off their 15-2 run at the end of the first to take an 11-point lead on the favored Hoyas. Georgetown answered with a 9-2 run of their own to pull within three, but the Wolfpack wouldn't allow the Hoyas to close the gap entirely.

Georgetown did manage to cut the deficit to one with 37 seconds remaining after a pair of Henry Sims free throws and had a chance to tie or take the lead around 15 seconds.

Here's how that opportunity played out for the Hoyas:

NC State extended their lead to four at the charity stripe, but the Hoyas scored a quick bucket with six seconds left to give them one final shot to tie if NC State couldn't convert its freebies. Lorenzo Brown, who had hit the previous three free throws, missed the second and gave Georgetown its last-ditched effort, which was actually a really good look:

Jason Clark finished with a forgettable 3-for-11 shooting day for the Hoyas. Hollis Thompson led the Hoyas with 23 points. Three from NC State led the Wolfpack with 14 points -- C.J. Williams, Scott Wood and C.J. Leslie.

No. 3 Georgetown Hoyas are taking on No. 11 North Carolina State in Columbus on Sunday afternoon with the winner advancing to the Sweet 16 to play the winner of today's Kanas-Purdue game. The underdog NC State leads at the half, 30-27

The Wolfpack didn't grab their first lead until a three-pointer by C.J. Williams with three minutes left in the half put them up 27-25, capping off a 12-0 run. Trailing by as many as eight, the Wolfpack finished the half on a 15-2 run to take the three-point halftime lead. Williams finished the half with a game-high nine points.

Georgetown turned the ball over five times during NC State's run and had nine overall. The Hoyas are being led by guard Jason Clark's six points and three assists, but he's just 1-for-5 shooting.

NCAA Tournament 2012, Cincinnati Vs. Florida State: TV Schedule, Game Time And More

On Sunday night, the No. 3 seeded Florida State Seminoles will take on the No. 6 Cincinnati Bearcats for the right to advance to the Sweet Sixteen next weekend. The winner will play No. 2 Ohio State, who defeated No. 7 Gonzaga on Saturday afternoon.

After taking the ACC Tournament, the No. 3 Seminoles had to stave off a furious effort by the No. 14 St. Bonaventure Bonnies on Friday in order to get to Sunday. A win vs. the Bearcats would give the 'noles their second straight Sweet 16 appearance and fifth all-time.

The No. 6 Bearcats had a little bit more comfortable win in their first tournament game, although No. 11 Texas Longhorns made a late rally to make things interesting. A trip to the Sweet 16 would be their 11th, but they haven't been since 2001.
