College Football Week 8 - Oregon Takes Over #1 Spot In USA Today Poll

For the second straight week, the No. 1 team in the country lost meaning there was a new No. 1 team come Sunday.  That team this week is the Oregon Ducks, who ascended to the top spot following a 60-13 win over UCLA, while the Oklahoma Sooners lost to Missouri on Saturday.

Boise State came in at No. 2, with Auburn, TCU and Michigan State rounding out the Top-5.

Now the question becomes who will be the top two teams in the BCS Poll.  There are still six teams in the Top 10 of the polls with undefeated records, including Michigan State from the Big Ten.

As for the Buckeyes, their 49-0 blasting of Purdue kept them at No. 10 in the USA Today poll.  The Buckeyes don't get to face the Spartans this season meaning they will need some serious help to win another Big Ten Championship.
